Summary:

2 Positions – This position provides leadership in the development of open storage software business plans and strategy. Will support the Business Line and Product Line Directors in identifying business opportunities. Will provide industry insights, and drive product direction within the company and the industry. Creates product vision and product direction for customers, analysts, and internal audiences. Formulates tactics to support the growth associated with a product and/or product family. Understand the competitive environment.

Essential Functions:

• Manages the business plan associated with a product family or a particular business line.
• Responsible for the formulation of business plans for a family of products. Will drive the development of investment goals and operational metrics. Pro-actively anticipate and lead product requirements, releases, launches, product sales and support effectiveness and any other components of product success.
• Will help define and build industry-leading products, bringing deep understanding of the industry and customer environment.
• Work with Global Product Management, Marketing and Sales to establish and execute go-to-market strategy, quarterly business plans, and regional objectives.

Skills & Requirements:

• 8+ years of related experience in storage or security
• Possesses strong producet/technolog/industry knowledge
• Possesses strong skills to analys customer's requirements
• Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
• Superior oral and written communications skills
