Test Tools Development Engineer Job - SSD's

This position will have primary responsibility for the definition, implementation and ongoing support of the EFD Test Application. This PC-based application will interact with SSD storage products via SAS and serial interfaces to configure and control the device under test. The application will consist of a graphic user interface (GUI) and a set of utilities to define and initiate device operations, monitor test execution progress and status, and collect and post-process results

• A minimum of 4 years software development experience using C++ on a Windows PC platform
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft software development tools and methods
• Experience with GUI design and implementation
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a collaborative, distributed development environment
• Embedded systems testing
• Data storage technology (e.g. SCSI, SAS, SATA, SMART)
• Data storage test equipment and analysis systems
• Diagnostic software development
• Embedded firmware development
• OEM customer qualification processes
• BS EE or Equivalent
